Dr. Shiv Bahadur Singh Bhadauria is a renowned Hindi poet, educationist, critic, and one of the leading figures of the Navgeet movement. He was born on 15 July 1927 in Dhannipur village, Raebareli district, Uttar Pradesh, India. After completing his early education in his village, he pursued higher studies in Hindi literature. He earned a Ph.D. from Kanpur University for his research titled Hindi Upanyaas: Srijan aur Prakriyaa.

Dr. Bhadauria devoted many years to teaching Hindi literature. He served as the Head of the Department of Hindi at Baiswara Postgraduate College and later became the Principal of Kamla Nehru Postgraduate College. As a teacher and scholar, he inspired generations of students and made significant contributions to Hindi literary studies.

Dr. Bhadauria is widely recognised as one of the foremost poets of the Navgeet movement. His poetry beautifully combines the charm of traditional lyrical verse with contemporary themes. His poems reflect the beauty of rural India, nature, human emotions, social change, and India's rich cultural heritage. His language is simple, melodious, and expressive, while his vivid imagery and symbolism leave a lasting impression on readers.
